Bourne 4 could start filming next summer?

Jason Bourne could be on the run again as soon as next summer.

In an interview with Collider, producer Frank Marshall says that Bourne 4 could go before cameras by the end of summer 2009. A summer 2010 release is a possibility, but Marshall advised the site that they are not going to rush the screenplay, which is being penned by George Nolfi.

Marshall did say that Universal and the filmmakers are extremely close to nailing the story and have settled on the premise.

The producer previously revealed that Bourne 4 would likely be based on one of Robert Ludlum's non-Bourne novels, The Parsifal Mosaic. Universal Pictures recently inked a deal for the screen rights to all of the late author's books.
