In 2019, a major viral outburst transforms a majority of the world's population into vampires. With only a handful of humans left to provide blood for the starving population of vampires, extinction is a very real risk for the new dominant species of humanity.
The vampires are depicted as being immortal, and possessing similar physical (including chemical makeup) appearances as regular humans; therefore, they are not easily distinguishable as traditional myths portray. It is impossible to discern vampires from regular humans, unless blood samples have been extracted.
In response to the dwindling blood supply, the vampires seek to hunt and farm the remaining humans for their blood and to find a blood substitute to prolong their existence. If a vampire doesn't drink blood, then they will transform from having a recognizable human form into a violent, uncontrollable bat-like creature of the night.A secret team of once-human researchers try and uncover a way that would rescue the human race.
At the same time, small factions of surviving humans wish to repopulate the species, often using violent means to retain their humanity.

Machete is a renegade former "Mexican Federale". He roams the streets of Texas after a shakedown from a drug lord called Torrez. Benz, a spin doctor, tells Machete that McLaughlin, a corrupt senator, is sending hundreds of illegal immigrants out of the country and that he must be killed. He offers him $150,000 to kill McLaughlin. Attempting to assassinate the senator, Machete is double-crossed and is shot in the shoulder. Now on the run and being tracked by Sartana, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent with a special interest in the blade slinger, Machete goes after Benz and his men with the help of his "holy" brother Padre, a saucy meat cleaver-wielding taco slinger named Luz, and April, a socialite with a penchant for guns. Machete rallys a group together, and begins to hunt the people who double crossed him.

Due to their time apart, and the fact that Winnie blames Gekko for her brother Rudy's suicide, she avoids any contact with him. At the same time, the mentor of young Wall Street trader Jacob unexpectedly dies, and Jacob suspects his hedge fund manager of being involved in the death. Jacob, who is Winnie's fiance, seeks revenge and agrees to Gekko's offer of help, in return for which Jacob agrees to help Gekko with Winnie.

The toys try to reset Buzz, but end up causing him to revert to a Spanish version of his delusions of being a space ranger, much to the other toys' discomfort.

Ethan Hawke on a 3rd Before Sunrise/Before Sunset Movie

At this morning’s press junket for Daybreakers, I was able to ask Ethan Hawke his thoughts on doing a third film in the Before Sunrise/Before Sunset universe. If you’re a fan (like me) of these two amazing movies and are hoping they’d do a third film, it sounds like they aren’t against it, but don’t expect to see it anytime soon. That’s because even though people constantly give Hawke ideas for the film, he says, “My thought is we will make one as soon as everybody has forgotten about it.”
He also revealed, “We had a version of that movie that happened two years later. But once it took us five years and we can’t get the money to make that movie we have to rethink it. So elements or lines from that script stayed. When we first finished Before Sunset there was an idea that we would do. Julie and I wanted to do a short film the next year that we thought would be really fun to do like a five minute short and then put it in the vault so to speak and then fifteen years later make another film.”
