Episode 3 (63) "In the Beginning" (Written by Jeremy Carver, Directed by Steve Boyum)
Dean is transported back in time to the '70s in Lawrence, Kansas. There, he meets a younger John Winchester (Matthew Cohen) and Mary (Amy Gumenick). This family reunion gets bigger when the Dean meets their Grandfather (Mitch Pileggi), who could have a huge secret.
Episode 12 (72) " Criss Angel is a Douchebag" (Written by Julie Siege,Directed by Robert Singer)
Sam and Dean attend a magician's convention where it seems that real magic is being performed. Has someone turned to the dark arts to revive their failing career? Also, Ruby visits Sam with a proposition.
Episode 18 (78) "The Monster At The End of This Book" (Written by Julie Siege & Nancy Weiner, Directed by Mike Rohl)
Lilith possesses the body of a dental hygenist and returns to wreak havoc and trouble on the Winchesters. Sam and Dean also discover a book entitled Supernatural about two demon hunting brothers named Sam and Dean Winchester while investigating a possible haunting at a comic book shop - the shop clerk believes the boys are LARPing the book when they visit.
Episode 20 (80) "The Rapture" (Written by Jeremy Carver, Directed by Charles Beeson)
Castiel appears to Dean in a dream and says he has something important to tell him but they need to meet somewhere private. Dean and Sam go searching for Castiel but instead find Jimmy, Castiel’s human vessel, who has only a spotty recollection of being an angel. Jimmy wants to return to his family and normal life, but Dean and Sam are concerned about his safety.

Battlestar Galactica Finale Split In Two Parts

The final episode of "Battlestar Galactica" will indeed be three hours long, and SciFi Channel plans to air the end of what some hail as the most powerful science-fiction series of all time as a two-part special.
The first hour-long part will air in its normal timeslot of March 13 at 10 p.m. ET on SciFi Channel, followed by a two-parter March 20 beginning at an earlier 9 p.m. to account for the two hours. For fans who don't want to wait between episodes, SciFi Channel plans to re-air the March 13 episode at 8 p.m. ET on March 20, allowing those who want to watch it straight through to do just that, a SciFi Channel spokeswoman tells SyFy Portal.
The split doesn't actually add a week to the series, but instead uses the ninth episode as a one-hour setup for the two-hour finale, thus creating a three-hour finale over two weeks (and three episode slots, which would actually bring the total number of hours in this half of the season to 11).

'Battlestar Galactica's' Ron Moore addresses the shocking developments of 'Sometimes a Great Notion'

This post contains extensive interviews and information about “Sometimes a Great Notion,” the Jan. 16 episode of Sci Fi's "Battlestar Galactica."
Below, “Battlestar Galactica” executive producer Ronald D. Moore talks in detail about several big developments in the episode. I'd recommend watching the episode before reading the full text of the post.
Bradley Thompson and David Weddle, who wrote the episode, penned essays about how they arrived at “Notion’s” title, the influence of a Ken Kesey novel on the episode, how they came up with its story lines -- including the "swimming fox" story -- and also about the episode’s challenging production process. Just as they were in the middle of preparation for the episode, a storm nearly destroyed all the outdoor sets and the Writers Guild of America strike began.
The episode's director, Michael Nankin, weighed in as well on the filming of this episode. Among other things, he relates a very interesting story about how a particular character's sad story was creatively echoed in the episode's score.
After Nankin's comments, there are a few thoughts from me about this shocking and impressive episode.

Battlestar Galactica Season 4.0 Top 5 Episodes
Episode 2 "Six of One" (Written by Michael Angeli,Directed by Anthony Hemingway)
The Cylons realize that their Raiders now refuse to attack the Colonial human fleet after one of the Raiders identified a Final Five Cylon among the humans. The decision to lobotomize the Raiders leads to tension among the human-form Cylons.
Starbuck is desperate to stop Galactica as it continues to jump away from the Ionian nebula. Apparently alone in her quest, she finds an ally in an unexpected place.
Episode 6 "Faith" (Written by Seamus Kevin Fahey,Directed by Michael Nankin)
The dying President Roslin and the aggressive Viper pilot Kara Thrace try to accept the new terms of the relationship with the Cylons.
Episode 7 "Guess What's Coming to Dinner?" (Written by Michael Angeli,Directed by Wayne Rose)
Adama and the fleet are presented with the proposed alliance with the Cylon rebels. Natalie offers an enticing prize to win Roslin's acceptance, but trust doesn't follow so easily.
Episode 9 "The Hub" (Written by Jane Espenson,Directed by Paul A. Edwards)
Colonial Viper pilots plan an attack on the Resurrection Hub with their Cylon rebel allies. Meanwhile Laura Roslin struggles with her morals and ethics as she makes a momentous decision.
Episode 10 "Revelations" (Written by David Weddle,Bradley Thompson Directed by Michael Rymer)
D'Anna holds President Roslin and other Colonials hostage in order to draw out the Final Five from the Colonial fleet. Col. Tigh believes he has the solution to end the standoff.

Fox cancels 'Prison Break'

Big news from Fox's portion of winter press tour! The net just announced that Prison Break would be coming to an end this season. Oh, did I say big news? I meant news we all saw coming a mile away.
The final string of episodes will kick off April 17, but exactly how many episodes there will be is an open question. "We've got our remaining batch of four episodes and then there are a couple more we're contemplating," says network prez Kevin Reilly, adding that the four-year old Prison has simply run its course. "The show is played out."

Prison Break-The End is Near

The end could be near for "Prison Break."
The actors on the Fox drama have been notified by 20th TV that the filming schedule might be extended to accommodate production of two additional episodes.
"Prison" writers are yet to pitch ideas about the extra hours, but speculation is that they might serve as a conclusion to the four-year series.
If the two episodes are made, their fate is unclear as the network has not committed yet to air them, though conversations with the studio are under way.
Fox might run the bonus material as two additional episodes in the spring, though that is considered unlikely because "Prison" has struggled in the ratings this fall and the remaining six episodes of its original 22-show order weren't on the network's recently released midseason schedule.
A more plausible scenario has Fox airing the two episodes as a two-hour "event" next season, not unlike the "24" prequel this fall. Or the episodes might end up on the "Prison Break" DVD.

Battlestar Galactica:final episodes premiere date and DVD release

Everyone, take out your 2009 Ziggy calendars and Tinkerbell fluffy pens. It's time to put some important Battlestar Galactica dates down so you will be able to get both your DVRs and wallets ready.
The good news-bad news first. The final 10 episodes of BSG will begin airing on SciFi staring on January 16th at 10:00 PM. That's the good news. The bad news is when the series finale will air. Should the shows air weekly, and there's no reason they shouldn't, the last episode will be shown on March 20th. That's bad because the series is ending...not because March 20th signifies the end of the world or anything. Really, the scheduling is up in the air since executive producer Ron Moore has previously stated that the series finale may run three hours or more.
Now the good news-good news. Ten days prior to the premiere of the last 10 episodes, NBC Universal will be releasing the first ten episodes of season four in a four-DVD box set. Included in the set are a ton of extras, including the broadcast and DVD release versions of Razor, mini episodes of said Razor, episode commentary by Ron Moore, Moore's weekly podcasts, and various deleted scenes. If there is any bad news it's that Battlestar Galactica 4.0 will only be released in standard DVD format.
One final note: A date has still not been set for the airing of Caprica, the prequel movie set half a century prior to BSG. In addition, a decision to pick the movie up as a series will not be made until early 2009. No surprise that the reason for this decision is the availability of financing. This may be a good thing because it will give fans of BSG a chance to purge themselves from the old series so they can be ready and adapt to the seemingly less science fiction-like feel of Caprica. Prison Break "Scylla/Breaking and Entering",S04E03 Trailer-Sneak Peek
The first season of Prison Break was great.From season 2,the quality of the series is declining,for a variety of reasons.Anyway,it still is an enjoyable show,but it needs a return to form.The fourth season has just began,with a 2-hour premiere.
For a while we knew that Sarah was not dead and that she will return.Her return in "Scylla" was underwhelming,a bit rushed,but it was still welcome."Scylla" was not a very good episode,but served as a basis for a better one."Breaking and Entering" was a pretty good,entertaining episode,with funny lines:"Did you eat bad mexican ?","I had to slow down not to catch you".To sum up,it was a decent premiere.Let's see how the season will develop.
